The Holy Animal - COW and its boons to Human - Life Survival Process

In Indian Culture COW is having a prominent place. It is a semi-god to Humans. Cow, most often we see in India with formers and now a days in roads. Most of the people now know the cow only to get milk and sell various milk products. It is also replaced by buffalo and buffaloes are also replaced by milk powders now. In future, children will come to know that there is an animal in history called as COW. To realize the semi God boons to human there is lot more to discuss. Each and every point about cow is equally important in human life. Lets see how cow is contributing its each and every part to humans.

Cow Dung:
  1. Traditional way of using cow dung in villages is wiping on floors and walls to make free from flies and also it is a water proof to houses.
  2. Cow dung is used as bio gas for cooking. This is a cheap and non polluting fuel. It can produce methane gas and it is used to produce electricity
  3. Cow Dung is also used as fertilizer. It is first and foremost fertilizer to former. It is now replaced with chemicals. Chemicals will dry the soil and more and more water is needed again to wet it. for this we need to pay more electricity bills. By using chemicals the soil strength will be decreased. Like wise from 1st point by mixing composted cow dung in soil it acts like a water proof by not allowing water to flow down. Composted cow manure will add organic matter into soil. With this the soil moisture holding capacity will improve. This allows you to water less frequently. As the cow dung is a mixture of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium it is an essential supplement to plants.Plants can use the additional water and nutrients whenever they needed. It also protects plants in various ways and  describing this statement, Cow dung is an essential food to earthworms and dung beetles. They can detect the cow dung as easily. Earthworms improve soil bulk density, pore size, water infiltration rate, soil water content, and water-holding capacity. Many consider the number of earthworms to be directly proportional to the health of a soil. They are major processors of dead and decomposing organic matter.
  4. Cow dung also helps plants to get more aerated by breaking the compact soil.
  5. Cow dung provides food for wide range of animals and fungus species which break it down and recycle it into food chain and into the soil
  6. Composting cow manure also produces a thrid less green house gases, making it environmentally friendly.
  7. Patches of cow dung can be beneficial for many small creatures which are having an important function in maintaining Biodiversity in heavily utilized pastures.
  8. Cow Dung  is used to prepare bricks which are Eco friendly. By using cow dung we can decrease the clay usage and dung bricks are lighter than clay bricks they are stronger too. Houses built with Dung bricks will keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. Paying farmers for cow dung will make farmers wealth effective, since they are the backbones in every place.
  9. Cow Dung is also used as cleansing agent, when mixed with neem leaves it will reduce the rashes and boils on skin.
  10. Dung Ash is used in storage of food grains, ash of equal weights is mixed with grains for storing. From olden days, this process is going on. To face drought conditions jowar is stored in tanks with equal amounts of dung ash for more than 10 years.without any damage.
  11. Dung ash is also used for cleaning utensils, which absorbs oil and fat wet marks.
  12. Dung, urine, milk, curd and ghee mix is consumed for the purification of mind and heart. For performing Religious rituals one has to consume Pancha Gavya, the so called mix.
  13. Heated dung cakes and oil are used to massage the woman and new born child for 40 days by midwives in earlier days.
  14. Dung cakes when burned without flame for smoke will keep away all insects.
  15. Dung cakes are naturally hot and can be used for heating water through pipes in glass house.
  16. Dung is used in preparation of many more Ayurvedic products for its natural antiseptic properties.
  17. Wet dung ash is used to polish metals. Tamarind removes oxidation and wet ash polishes the metal brass.
  18. Cow Dung when thrown in ponds in neutralizes acidic content, which becomes a PH balancer.
  19. Dung ash is also used in mortar and concrete, mud and cow dung ash(lime) becomes cement.
  20. Renownedly known thing in Indian Culture is Yaagas, Homas and poojas. In all these things there is a common output rushi's, maharshi's, devarshi's or Brahmarshi's or Ancient Indian Scientist's will obtain that is the life supporting component of the air, oxygen. This is produced due to so many materials or things burnt by them. One of the resource burnt in these type of rituals is dried Cow Dung. When Dung patches along with ghee(prepared from cow milk) are burnt it will produce enormous amounts of oxygen which is a life survival thing. This is the reason why Ancient Indian Scientist's used to perform all the above rituals and prescribed Cow as mother and its products as holy gifts. And all these processes will avoid pollution affects.
Cow Urine:
  1. Cow Urine can cure many curable and incurable diseases some of which are diabetes, asthma, blood pressure, heart attack, etc.
  2. Cow Urine contains substances which are needed to human body. By consuming this it will maintain balance of these substances in the body. 
  3. Cow Urine when sprayed on plants it works as insecticides.
  4. Crops look more green than ever when it is applied as Urea. 
  5. Cow Urine acts as an anti biotic when used few drops in the bathing water.
  6.  Boiled Cow urine can be used as eye drops.
  7. Cow Urine when soaked with cow dung wiped inside the room will purify the air inside the room by destroying parasites. TB parasites can be killed by inhaling the air purified by cow dung and cow urine.
  8. Daily intake of small quantities of cow urine after filtration will reduce many diseases like Jaundice, anemia, swelling, etc.
  9. Direct intake of cow urine will reduce cough immediately.
  10. Heated cow urine can be used as ear drops.

Cow Milk and its Products:
  1. Cow Milk is rich in iodine and minerals like calcium and potassium which is good for mental and physical stability.
  2. Cow Ghee is good for health if we take it daily. It fulfills the fat requirements of the body and is also a very easily digestible.
  3. gentle massage with cow ghee everyday is good for teeth and gums.
  4. cow ghee helps in secreting enzymes that digest the food.
  5. Cow ghee when used in massage will improve immune system.
  6. All Milk Products will provide good usage to human body.

Cow Habits:
Cow intakes oxygen and exhales oxygen. So it is better to have a cow inside house than to go for a oxygen bar.
